Orders & deliveries

These are the most asked questions about placing and receiving a new Dacia
How can I order a Dacia?
You can order a new Dacia at your local Dacia retailer.
How do I change my details on My Dacia?
No problem. To update your personal details, you will need to log in to your account and make all necessary changes in the appropriate fields. This does not affect the status of your order. You should also contact your dealership to advise them of any changes.
When will I get my car?
Your Dacia retailer will inform you of a forecast delivery date for your new car. Lead times will depend on the specification of vehicle ordered, and are subject to availability.

Some versions may be available from stock.
My friend has received a build date for their Sandero, but I haven't?
When we allocate a vehicle to be built we do this on a first-come-first-served basis. The only exception to this is for different specifications of a vehicle. Different specifications of a vehicle may have different assembly lines with different timelines and capacity. So your friend either ordered their Sandero before you or they have ordered a different specification which is being built on an assembly line that has a better lead time. Rest assured, we continue to do our utmost to ensure you get your vehicle as quickly as possible.
If I continue to drive my current car, which I am part exchanging, how will this impact the price?
Your Dacia retailer will work with you to ensure any impacts of part exchange values are minimised. However, in cases where mileage is significantly higher or the condition of the vehicle deteriorates significantly since it was appraised, then a reappraisal may be necessary.
Can I borrow a vehicle from Dacia in the meatime?
We are sorry, but we do not have a fleet of vehicles in the UK available for loan. We advise making arrangements to continue to drive your current vehicle (if you have one) until your new one arrives.
Why can't you be more specific about when my car will be delivered to me?
Unfortunately, at present, we do not know exactly how long the delay will be since the computer chip shortage is constantly evolving. We understand this is very frustrating for you and as soon as we have visibility on your vehicle’s build date in the coming weeks, we or your chosen dealer will contact you to update you.

Finance

I am concerned because I am coming to the end of my finance agreement
Please contact your local Dacia Retailer. They will be able to work with you and MFS to temporarily extend your existing finance agreement until your new car is delivered.
I am concerned because I am coming to the end of my finance agreement with my own finance provider
We recommend that you contact your finance provider and explain the situation to them. They will then explain your options. In most cases, they should be able to temporarily extend your finance contract. Your Dacia Retailer is also available to advise you on your options.

Servicing & repairs

These are the questions we get asked
How often do your cars need servicing?
We say either every year or 20,000 km (if you reach that first).
Do your cars have breakdown assistance?
Yes. We don't expect it to happen. But we'll ensure help is on hand if it does.

All new Dacia vehicles come with 3 years’ Roadside Assistance as standard. We offer speedy assistance, 24 hours a day / 365 days a year.
Where can I service my car?
You fully qualified local Dacia retailer is the best place to come.

Global shortage of computer chips

I haven't heard of the global shortage of computer chips. What is it?
You may wish to read some recent press articles on this subject which detail the reasons for the global shortage, link below. - A quick internet search on “computer chip shortage” will give you lots of information.
Is Dacia the only manufacturer whose vehicles are impacted by this computer chip shortage?
Since computer chips are a common component in most cars’ electrical systems, most automotive manufacturers are likely to be impacted by this global shortage.
Are all Dacia vehicles impacted by this computer chip shortage?
Yes, all vehicles which are planned to be built in our factories in the coming months ahead are impacted in some way. Impacts vary depending on the specification of each vehicle.
I have read that the shortage will increase the price of vehicles, will this include mine?
The price of your car will remain the same as at the point you placed your customer order.

How does Dacia comply with the battery recycling oblingation for automotive and industrial batteries

Businesses that place electric vehicle batteries onto the UK market have an obligation to arrange for the treatment and recycling of these batteries.

All battery producers in the UK are required to be registered with the Government. Dacia UK is classified as a battery producer in the UK. Our battery producer registration number is BPRN00438.
