Jogger hybrid 155 technology

Hybrid combines a conventional petrol engine with an electric motor that serves multiple functions.
hybrid 155 technology - Dacia Jogger
full hybrid technology, unrivalled driving comfort

Composition
The full hybrid self-charging system combines a combustion engine, two electric motors and a multi-mode automatic gearbox. This architecture enables seamless transitions between driving modes, with no input required from the driver.

Charging the battery
No need to plug in: the battery charges automatically during braking and deceleration. So you can enjoy the benefits of electric power without the hassle of charging.

How it works
On start-up, the vehicle always runs in 100% electric mode. Depending on driving conditions, the system automatically switches between three modes:
  • for quiet, emission-free urban travel,
  • for phases requiring more power,
  • for an optimum combination of the two powertrains. In the city, it can run 80%* electric driving in the city.

* Based on internal tests using the urban phase (low) of the WLTC (Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Cycle). % of driving time may vary depending on actual driving conditions (road type, driving style, and weather conditions).

      Advantages
With full hybrid technology, you can enjoy a smooth, responsive and quiet ride, while achieving fuel savings of up to 40% compared with a conventional internal combustion engine.

do you have any more questions?

How long does a Dacia hybrid system battery last?
The traction battery is guaranteed for 8 years or 160,000 km for hybrid motors.
Can Dacia hybrid cars travel long distances?
Yes. Depending on use, the driving range of a hybrid vehicle is greater than that of a combustion-powered or electric car, since you can alternate between multiple energy sources.
How do you charge the battery in Dacia hybrid cars?
It couldn't be simpler: the batteries in hybrid vehicles don't need any special connections, charging automatically when the vehicle decelerates or brakes.
